The role builds hybrid systems combining bare-metal, virtualization, and orchestration for the company's Web3 platform. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Research, architect, and deploy systems across bare-metal, hypervisors, orchestrators, VMs, and containers. - Automate deployment with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Consul). - Set standards, documentation, and architecture diagrams for scale, reliability, and compliance. - Partner with Technical Operations, CloudOps, and Platform on integration, efficiency, and observability. - Optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency while holding performance and uptime targets. - Improve resilience through capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and modernization. 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - Minimum 5 years in Systems Administration, Datacenter Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering, with deep Linux/Unix expertise. - Proven design and management of hybrid and traditional infrastructure at scale (bare-metal, virtualized, cloud-native). - Hands-on Terraform, Ansible, Consul, and Jenkins. - Proficiency with Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, and DataDog. - Programming experience in Python, Go, or JavaScript. - Strong grasp of scalability, redundancy, fault tolerance, and cost optimization. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud/datacenter networking. - Strong communication and documentation skills across engineering teams. 🌍 Location: - Remote for the United States and Portugal.
