PHP Developer

PHP Developer Dublin (Hybrid) Full-time, Permanent €50-60K + benefits IT Search has partnered with a well-established Irish organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, with a strong focus on building and scaling modern digital platforms. They’re looking to add a PHP Developer to support the continued growth of their product offering. This is a hands-on, backend-focused role with a strong emphasis on PHP and Laravel. You’ll be developing and maintaining scalable applications, building and integrating APIs, working with relational databases, modernising existing systems, and supporting deployment processes. The role will also offer exposure to Docker, cloud technologies and mobile development. Requirements - 3+ years’ experience in PHP development or a similar role - Strong experience with PHP and Laravel - Good understanding of REST APIs and backend development - Experience with SQL and relational databases - Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows - Good communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have - Exposure to Docker or similar tools - Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing - Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms - Exposure to Vue.js, React or Flutter Strong pipeline of greenfield and modernisation projects, a collaborative engineering environment with real ownership, flexible hybrid working, and clear progression opportunities.
