Short description Join Septeo CNEE and support demanding client projects within the insolvency and legal sector, from initial requirements gathering through to successful implementation. In this role, you combine technical expertise with consulting skills to design and deliver tailored solutions for complex business processes. Rather than working on a standard software product or handling ticket-based support, you will collaborate closely with customers to develop individual workflows, data migrations, and system integrations that create tangible value in their day-to-day operations. As close collaboration with customers and colleagues is an important part of the role, we value regular presence at our Karlsruhe office (approximately 1-2 days per week) as well as occasional on-site customer visits. Your mission - Design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions, integrations, workflows, and interfaces using C#/.NET, VBA, XML, and modern web technologies - Maintain, optimize, and further develop existing applications and database structures based on MS Access and Microsoft SQL Server - Develop and implement digital solutions while integrating existing systems and interfaces - Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into sustainable, practical solutions - Advise and support customers in digitizing and optimizing their business processes - Act as a technical consultant and trusted partner for customers while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders - Create technical documentation and maintain structured version control using Git Your profile - Several years of experience in software development, technical consulting, or solution implementation within a project-driven environment - Strong expertise in C#/.NET, MS Access, Microsoft SQL Server, and VBA - Experience with modern frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor is a plus - Proven experience in analyzing business requirements and designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions - Experience with system integrations, data migrations, and interface development - Familiarity with electronic signatures and digital workflows in legal or highly regulated environments, ideally including electronic legal communication platforms (e.g., EGVP) - Strong understanding of business processes and a genuine interest in working closely with customers and functional stakeholders - Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented mindset combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills - Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken Application process Initial Introduction CallIn a short conversation with our Talent Acquisition team, we'll discuss your background, expectations, and the role in more detail.
