Expression of Interest: Project Managers and Senior Engineers – Heavy Civil Infrastructure, Ireland
Mott MacDonald is seeking Expressions of Interest from talented Civil Engineers and experienced Project and Design Managers with a background in heavy civil infrastructure projects to support the continued growth of our services in Ireland. Specific disciplines we are interested in include major project delivery, geotechnical engineers and complex structure and bridge engineers.
We help conceive, develop and deliver infrastructure solutions for cities, regions and asset owners/operators around the globe. From developing business cases and advising on procurement, revenue and environmental considerations, through to delivering and maintaining major infrastructure, our planning, engineering, environmental and management expertise creates successful social and business outcomes for our clients.
Mott MacDonald’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure division (HCI) is a leader in major civil infrastructure projects across Europe and internationally. We specialise in delivering civil engineering solutions for transport, water and energy sectors, and operate through resource groups such as:
- Bridges
- Foundations & Geotechnics
- Tunnels
- Digital Delivery
- Asset Management
As our division grows in Ireland, we are looking for professionals who are passionate about technical excellence, collaborative delivery and innovation. We are interested in hearing from a range of experience levels, from Chartered Engineers through to senior technical specialists and project leaders with demonstrable experience delivering civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on role and experience, responsibilities may include:
- Delivering major civil infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients.
- Managing multidisciplinary teams across engineering and project disciplines.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to developing professionals.
- Design delivery across geotechnical, complex structures, bridge and tunnels civil engineering.
- Supporting project planning, commercial performance and risk management.
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Contributing to bids, proposals and business development activities.
- Driving innovation, and best practice across project planning and delivery.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of Mott MacDonald's Heavy Civil Infrastructure division.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered status or progression towards professional accreditation.
- Experience in the design or delivery of major civil infrastructure projects, particularly Design and Build delivery models.
- Proven technical, project management or leadership capabilities.
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-regional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
