Senior Accountant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Brazil. This role is an opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional to play a key role during a period of financial growth and transformation. You will serve as a senior accounting authority, applying deep US GAAP expertise and sound judgment to complex financial matters. Your work will strengthen month-end close processes, balance sheet controls, audit readiness, and overall financial accuracy. You will also contribute directly to a major accounting system migration and broader process improvement initiatives. Rather than focusing primarily on transactional bookkeeping, you will provide high-level review, technical guidance, and controllership oversight. The role requires someone who can identify risks, resolve discrepancies, improve controls, and communicate clearly with leadership and auditors.
