Microsoft Infrastructure Consultants – Permanent and contract positions available! Auxilion are a Market leading Managed Services and Digital Transformation company with a significant presence in the Irish and UK Markets. Owing to to a strong increase in customer demand, we are now seeking applications from Microsoft Infrastructure Consultants to join us on a permanent or contract basis. These roles will be based between our head office and various customer customer sites located throughout the greater Dublin region. Attendance requiremnts for these roles will be offered on na hybrid basis, with the Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant required either in the office or at on of our customer sites on a 3 day per week basis. Responsibilities of role - Design, plan and implement complex Microsoft infrastructure solutions for customers. - Lead the technical delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, budget and timelines. - Deploy and migrate Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments. - Conduct Active Directory health checks, migrations, upgrades and consolidation projects. - Design and implement virtualisation solutions using VMware and/or Hyper-V. - Deliver backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions using platforms such as Veeam and Commvault. - Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing expert guidance to clients and internal stakeholders. - Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and clearly communicate the associated benefit - Produce high-quality technical designs, implementation plans and project documentation. - Ensure solutions comply with technical standards, governance requirements and industry best practice. - Provide technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing to Level 2 Technical Consultants. - Keep abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of services and solutions. Essential Candidate Requirements - Minimum 5 years' experience delivering infrastructure projects or supporting enterprise infrastructure environments. - Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Technical Consultant within an MSP, managed services provider or similar customer-facing IT services organisation. - Proven experience implementing complex Microsoft infrastructure solutions. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online deployments and mailbox migrations. - Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Exchange environments, including Hybrid Exchange. - Strong experience with Active Directory, including health checks, migrations and consolidation projects. - Experience deploying and supporting virtualisation platforms, including VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. - Experience implementing enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam and/or Commvault. - Ability to design, document and deliver technical solutions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong customer engagement, problem-solving and consultative skills, with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor. - Third-level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver projects to agreed timelines and quality standards. Professional Certifications Candidates should hold one or more of the following certifications, or demonstrate equivalent experience: - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) - Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) - VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) - Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) - ITIL Foundation Certification Desirable Certifications - Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) - Commvault Professional Certification - Microsoft Cybersecurity Certifications (SC Series) - CompTIA Network+ - CompTIA Security+ IMPORTANT - All applicants must have immediate availability to work in Ireland and/or the wider EU as our client cannot provide any kind of Visa or Work Permit sponsorship at present.
