Description
We are Whow Games – and YOU could be part of it!
We are a team of more than 50 people from a wide range of nationalities – passionate gamers, experienced game developers, and marketing professionals working together to plan, develop, publish, and market entertaining products. We love what we do – and that’s what makes us successful!
At WHOW Games we make social casino games for web and mobile, enjoyed by millions of players. Our marketing is data-driven, fast and closely connected with Product, CRM and BI.
We are looking for someone who has already owned UA at scale and knows how to grow budgets profitably. You will bring new players into our existing markets and help us open up new countries. There is no ready-made playbook. You will write it.
Tasks
- UA strategy: You own user acquisition for web and mobile end to end, from channel and budget planning all the way to scaling
- Budget: You manage your budget against cohort ROAS, payback and LTV, and you decide where every euro works hardest
- Core markets: When the familiar levers are maxed out, that's where you get going. You find new audiences, channels and ideas
- New markets: You evaluate new countries, run tests and come back with a clear go/no-go recommendation
- Channel mix: From Google, Meta and Apple Search Ads to ad networks, programmatic, TikTok and affiliate, you set the mix and negotiate directly with networks, agencies and partners
- Setup: You build tracking, attribution, tooling and testing processes that scale with us, and you decide what runs in-house and where partners make sense
- Creatives: Together with design and content, you drive a fast testing cycle for creatives, store listings and landing pages
- Reporting: You make results transparent, bring your own ideas and stand behind your numbers, including at management level
- Teamplay: You work closely with Product, CRM and BI to turn new players into long-term active ones
Requirements
- 5+ years in performance marketing or user acquisition, a large part of it in (mobile) gaming or a similarly data-driven B2C environment
- A track record you can back up with numbers: you have scaled budgets of a meaningful size profitably
- Deep hands-on experience with web and app campaigns, from Google and Meta to Apple Search Ads and networks like AppLovin, Unity or Moloco.
- You think in cohorts, LTV and payback, not in clicks
- You know MMPs like AppsFlyer or Adjust, GA4 and server-side tracking from practice, and you understand what GDPR, consent and ATT/SKAdNetwork mean for your measurement
- AI is part of your daily work. You build your own workflows with ChatGPT, Claude and similar tools, for example for creative variants, analysis and reporting
- You make decisions without perfect data, work independently and communicate clearly, including at management level
- Fluent English and very good German
Nice to have:
- Social casino experience, including the ad policies of Google, Meta and the app stores
- Experience launching in new countries
- You have built or led a UA team before
- A strong network of ad networks, agencies and partners in gaming
- Experience with influencer and streamer marketing on Twitch or YouTube
- Additional languages
Benefits
- A professional and experienced team with many years of expertise in the gaming industry
- A dynamic working environment with flat hierarchies, fast decision-making processes, and plenty of room for your own ideas
- Flexible working hours and the option to work remotely, with two days per week in the office expected
- Regular company events
- Free fruit and drinks as well as meal subsidies
- A subsidy for the Deutschlandticket
- The option to join Wellpass
Sounds like you? Then send us your CV and a few lines about the growth project you are most proud of. Numbers welcome.
