Copywriter (JM - 11232023 - PTCW)

Position: Copywriter Number of hours: 10 hours/week Schedule: PST Tasks required: - Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets client/company needs and deadlines - Meet with client to understand their message, brand voice and target audience - Conduct research to formulate ideas or support writing - Propose copy concepts in a comprehensible and engaging way - Produce copies for marketing materials, social media posts, and paid advertisements - Drive brand consistency across all company communications - Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere - See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment - Assist in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content - Work with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations - Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Copywriter or relevant experience - Bachelors degree in English, communications, or a related field is highly preferred - Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns with a portfolio of work over a wide range of projects - Exceptional skill in social media writing, including use of hashtags and relevant acronyms - Broad knowledge of suitable copies for different scenarios and across different niches/industries - Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels - Strong communication, research, and typing skills - Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation - Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience - Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Documents - Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing - Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team - Willingness to meet deadlines - Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn rapidly Originally posted on Himalayas
