Cloud Infrastructure Lead

Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Lead Location: Cork (Hybrid) Contract Type: Day Rate Contract (6-months rolling Contract) Strong Daily Rate Start Date: ASAP (Two Interview Stage Process) Overview: PFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Lead to oversee the delivery of enterprise cloud infrastructure and platform services across Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role combines technical leadership, team management, cloud governance, and delivery oversight to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions across multiple projects and programmes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the delivery of cloud infrastructure projects from design through to production deployment. - Manage cloud architects, cloud engineers, and DevOps engineers, providing technical leadership and mentoring. - Oversee cloud networking, security, identity, monitoring, governance, and operational readiness. - Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, and cloud best practices. - Manage project priorities, risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery milestones. - Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Support the transition of cloud solutions into operational support teams. Must-Have Skills & Experience: - 8+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Delivery, or Platform Engineering. - 3+ years leading cloud engineering, infrastructure, or architecture teams. - Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure solutions. - Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, identity, governance, and operations. - Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and resource management skills.
