General Description
Territory: Technical: Europe and sometimes global
Sales: Poland & Ukraine
Working Place: Home Office in Poland
Supervisor: Head of Technical Department, DormFresh
Travelling: Weekly day trips visiting growers, applicators, and dealers. Every 2 to 3 weeks, there will be trips that require hotel overnight stays, with occasional trips outside of territory.
Responsibilities & Duties
Technical
· Provide technical direction in Territory.
· Incorporate recommendations from DormFresh and 1,4GROUP technical and research staff, accredited industry experts, and university representatives.
· Initiate and support collaborative potato store studies with potato store managers.
· Increase market demand by providing critical data to marketing and sales.
· Support Research & Innovation to enhance current and future product range.
Sales
· Fighting off generic competition, increasing sales, volumes, profitability, and customer satisfaction to meet and exceed territory annual KPIs.
· Support Marketing by providing market intelligence and product life cycle information.
· Creating, communicating, and implementing company vision, mission, and overall direction through behaviours and actions.
· Persuasively communicate our differentiated value to the market.
General
· On-time submission of presentations, spreadsheets, and report summaries.
· Inviting public speakers and comfortable corporate representatives in Territory.
· Other duties as may be assigned.
Selected Key Deliverables
· Tech: Provide technical support and guidance in customer complaint management.
· Sales: Leading and growing sales and sales opportunities in Poland & Ukraine.
· General: Positive behavioural comments from your DormFresh colleagues.
· General: Develop and maintain a database of customers, researchers, and market influencers in the territory.
· General: Weekly on-farm and in the office prospecting visits.
Qualifications & Skills
· Educated to a university degree or equivalent work experience in an agronomy-related field.
· Existing relationships and experience working with Polish growers, applicators, and dealers.
· Experience in European potato storage management products and practices.
· Effective communication skills to communicate internally, with customers, and stakeholders.
· Technical knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures affecting products and services.
· Understanding and awareness of sales and market development.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to take action through influencing.
