DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer – Automation and Platform Engineering, you will be working for our client, a leader in innovative digital infrastructure solutions. You will contribute to building a robust, AI-driven SDLC platform that empowers application teams to design, build, secure, and deploy software faster, safer, and more reliably. Your main responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain automated SDLC workflows and platform capabilities for application teams - Integrate Backstage as an internal developer portal with GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Nexus, and Sonar - Build reusable templates, pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure modules to streamline application delivery via AI-assisted agents - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions - Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and continuous improvement practices - Drive automation and integration initiatives to enhance developer experience and operational reliability You're ideal for this role if you have: - 2+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related fields - Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and software delivery automation tools - Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration automation with Ansible - Experience working with artifact repositories and code quality/security tools such as Nexus and Sonar - Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical topics, and proactively propose improvements - Excellent communication skills in English, with additional proficiency in French considered a strong plus It is a strong plus if you have: - Exposure to internal developer portals, platform engineering practices, or AI-assisted software delivery - Knowledge of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices - Experience working within regulated or financial-services environments Language Required for the role: - English (Communicative level) - French (Proficient level) Eligibility for the role: - Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. #MAKEYourCareerBETTER Interested?
