🚀 We’re Hiring | Data Architect | Hybrid | Lisbon Are you experienced in designing enterprise data platforms and defining end-to-end data architectures? We’re looking for a Data Architect to design scalable, secure and cost-efficient data solutions, working across cloud platforms, data integration, governance and enterprise architecture. 📍 Location: Lisbon, Portugal | Hybrid 🔹 What you’ll do - Analyse business requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions. - Design end-to-end architectures for data ingestion, integration, storage and consumption. - Define data models and integration strategies, including ETL/ELT, APIs, CDC, streaming and event-driven architectures. - Design cloud-based Data Lakes, Lakehouses and Data Warehouses. - Establish standards for Data Governance, Data Quality, Security, Metadata Management and GDPR compliance. - Evaluate technologies, document architectural decisions and define reference architectures. - Ensure scalability, resilience, performance and cost optimisation. - Provide technical leadership to data architecture and engineering teams. - Present architectural recommendations to technical and business stakeholders. 🔹 What we’re looking for - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. - Fluency in English. - Strong experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture and enterprise data platforms. - Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Big Data, relational and NoSQL databases. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP). - Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT, APIs, CDC, streaming and event-driven architectures. - Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Security, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, MDM and GDPR. - Experience defining scalable, resilient and cost-efficient architectures and enterprise architecture standards. - Strong technical leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. ⭐ Nice to have - Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector. - Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery or Redshift. - Exposure to Analytics, Machine Learning and AI. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA and Confluence.
