Join Our Team: Human Resources Assistant Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruiting & Resume Screening - Review incoming resumes and applications from Indeed and other sources - Screen candidates based on minimum qualifications and cultural alignment with Textbook Painting's core values - Maintain accurate applicant data in shared spreadsheets and Google Drive - Assist in drafting and posting job ads based on provided templates 2. Interview Scheduling & Coordination - Schedule interviews using Google Calendar, JustCall, and Zoom - Send confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups to candidates and managers - Coordinate with multiple team members across time zones to ensure smooth interview flow - Prepare summary notes for each candidate ahead of manager interviews 3. First-Round Video Interviews - Occasionally conduct structured initial screening interviews using a provided script and scorecard - Evaluate candidate responses objectively based on the rubric - Record short summaries and recommendations for the HR Generalist 4. Onboarding Administration - Manage communication with new hires after offer acceptance - Coordinate completion of onboarding documents in Gusto and ensure compliance - Assist with scheduling pre-employment requirements such as background checks or drug tests - Prepare and send welcome emails and Day 1 instructions to new employees 5. General HR & Administrative Support - Organize and maintain HR files in Google Drive following data security best practices - Provide administrative support for HR , tracking spreadsheets, and follow-ups - Assist with HR communication and employee engagement initiatives such as surveys and event reminders - Support internal communication via Slack and maintain HR inbox organization We offer a collaborative work environment where your skills will make a direct impact on our company's success.
