We're Hiring: Senior AI Platform Engineer | Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale AI-driven engineering solutions that improve developer productivity across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role combines AI Engineering, Platform Engineering and DevOps. We are looking for a highly autonomous engineer with strong technical ownership and proven experience building and deploying AI agents in production environments. Experience limited to proof-of-concepts is not sufficient. Key responsabilities - Design and implement AI agent workflows and automation across the SDLC. - Develop AI agents using orchestration, tool integration, MCP and context engineering. - Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails and quality controls. - Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and developer tooling. - Integrate AI-powered workflows with enterprise systems such as Jira and source control platforms. Requirements - 8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior or lead-level responsibilities. - Proven experience deploying AI agents in production, including orchestration, MCP and evaluation frameworks. - Strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps and CI/CD. - Proficiency in Python and TypeScript. - Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP or equivalent) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar). - Experience with internal developer platforms, CLIs or workflow engines. - Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and a strong understanding of the SDLC. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Nice to have - Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, Kotlin, Go, Rust, code intelligence, BDD/Cucumber or test automation.
