Lead Engineer, IT Applications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Engineer, IT Applications based in India. This is a hands-on technical role focused on administering, developing, and continuously improving enterprise Jira and Confluence Cloud environments. You will own platform configuration, automation, integrations, troubleshooting, and L2/L3 support across business-critical systems. The role combines platform engineering with stakeholder collaboration, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. You will work with APIs, webhooks, automation, and enterprise applications to streamline workflows and improve productivity. You will also contribute to cloud migration initiatives and ongoing platform modernization. Success in this position requires strong technical ownership, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a complex enterprise environment.
