What You'll Do - System Administration: Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure. - User Support & Helpdesk Management: Provide technical support to remote employees, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. - Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. - Cloud & SaaS Management: Oversee cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace, optimizing performance and security. - Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure robust data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans are in place. - Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts for IT automation and efficiency. - Software & Hardware Management: Deploy, configure, and manage software applications and company devices. - IT Policy Development: Establish and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organization. What You Need to Succeed - Experience: 5+ years of IT administration experience in a remote or hybrid setting. - Technical Expertise: - Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. - Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Hands-on experience with network administration (VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and best practices. - Ability to write scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. - Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Education & Certifications (Preferred but not Required): - Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. - Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
