Azure Integration Tech Lead (Azure , Integration Services, APIs, Serverless, DevOps & Platform Engineering) Up to €78,000 + Annual Bonus + Private Healthcare Are you an experienced Azure engineer who enjoys combining hands-on technical delivery with leading engineering teams and shaping cloud architecture? This is an opportunity to join one of Europe's largest digital commerce businesses, supporting a global technology platform operating across multiple markets. You'll take ownership of the Azure integration estate, leading the design and delivery of scalable APIs, cloud-native services and event-driven architectures. Alongside hands-on engineering, you'll shape technical strategy, develop engineering talent and improve the platforms and tooling that enable teams to deliver software more effectively. Key Responsibilities - Lead the technical direction and architecture of Azure integration platforms, APIs and cloud-native services. - Design and deliver solutions using Azure API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure data services. - Lead and mentor integration engineers, supporting technical development, recruitment and career progression. - Drive platform engineering initiatives, including reusable tooling, self-service deployments and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. - Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevSecOps and AI-assisted engineering practices. - Ensure integrations are secure, resilient and observable, using tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights. - Work closely with architecture, security, product and engineering teams to establish standards and drive technical improvements. - Optimise cloud costs, resource utilisation and platform reliability. What They're Looking For - Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft Azure. - Expertise in Azure Integration Services, API-led architecture, event-driven systems and distributed applications. - Experience with Terraform, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices. - A background in technical leadership, mentoring engineers and making architectural decisions. - Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management and secure integration design.
