Your Mission Will Be
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery across multiple layers (raw to curated);
- Define and apply pipeline architectures, standards, and governance models that ensure consistency and reliability;
- Drive the technical execution of data workflows, ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality;
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, aligning data solutions with product and business needs;
- Continuously evolve the data platform through automation, monitoring, and architectural improvements.
You Will Need
- Strong hands-on experience with Spark, SQL, Python, Delta Lake, and modern data architectures;
- Proven ability to design scalable, interoperable data solutions within cloud-based ecosystems, ideally Azure Fabric;
- Solid understanding of data quality, security, access control, and governance practices;
- Experience implementing tests, validations, and error-handling mechanisms in data pipelines;
- CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.
Would Be Awesome If You Have
- Experience enabling and mentoring teams on data tools, best practices, and architectural patterns;
- Background in optimizing data performance and managing cost-efficient solutions at scale;
- Exposure to data mesh concepts or distributed data platform designs;
- Hands-on involvement in innovation initiatives such as POCs or adoption of emerging technologies;
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
