Cloud Engineer

A mid-sized engineering organisation is looking for an experienced technical professional to join the team. The role focuses on supporting clients in building and operating modern cloud environments using a comprehensive Infrastructure-as-Code approach. You will be responsible for implementing scalable architectures and guiding successful cloud adoption according to industry best practices. What you'll be doing • Implementing dynamically scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructures • Planning private networking, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure performant connectivity • Implementing IAM, RBAC, managed identities, and federated identity solutions • Defining reproducible infrastructure using Terraform, Tofu, and GitOps workflows • Establishing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to increase performance What we're looking for • Professional experience managing resources and services within cloud environments • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Tofu, or Terragrunt • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and compliance principles • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash alongside Linux basics • Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level) What's on offer • Flexible hybrid working model • Opportunities to work with modern cloud-native patterns and serverless architectures • Professional development within a collaborative team environment • Access to the latest tools in container orchestration and automation Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
