Managing Director for Finance and Operations

Our partner is looking for a Managing Director for Finance and Operations based remotely in the United States, United Kingdom, or Kenya. Lead the financial strategy and operational infrastructure of a mission-driven organization supporting entrepreneurs and managing impact investments. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee financial planning, investment administration, compliance, and organizational operations while working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. You will help evolve a complex business model that combines grant funding, blended finance, and investment activities to support long-term financial sustainability. By strengthening financial systems, diversifying revenue streams, and improving operational efficiency, you will enable informed decision-making and sustainable organizational growth. You will also build high-performing finance and human resources teams while supporting governance, risk management, and board-level financial oversight.
