Job Location: 100% remote in Romania, B2B Recruitment process: - HR discussion - Technical interview About the job Our client builds and supports business-critical software through experienced engineering teams. For this engagement, you will work closely with our client's ERP & Applications team and business stakeholders on the SAP S/4HANA programme of an international manufacturing group. We are looking for an SAP SD Consultant to support the Sales & Distribution area of the programme, for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension. This role suits a consultant who is comfortable working directly with business users, challenging requirements where needed and taking ownership of delivery dates. Your role: - Own the Sales & Distribution area of an S/4HANA programme, from requirements to working solution. - Work directly with business stakeholders and key users. - Act as second-level support for SD processes. What you will actually do Order-to-cash in S/4HANA - Configure and support sales orders, pricing, delivery, billing, credit management and returns. - Work across the integration points with MM and FI, and with interfaces such as IDocs/EDI. - Test SD processes and support cutover and hypercare. Working with the business - Gather requirements from business stakeholders and key users, and challenge them where needed. - Turn requirements into working solutions and document them in functional specifications. - Transfer knowledge to key users. Support and delivery - Analyse SD incidents, find root causes and fix them within agreed timelines. - Keep to agreed delivery dates and flag risks early. What we are looking for - 5+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience. - At least one S/4HANA implementation or rollout. - Strong knowledge of the order-to-cash process. - Good understanding of SD integration with MM and FI. - A proactive way of working: you take ownership of your tasks and delivery dates. - Confidence in front of business users and stakeholders. - Fluent English, written and spoken. Nice to have - Multi-site or multi-company rollouts. - Experience in a manufacturing environment. - Fiori and S/4HANA order management features.
