Head of Engineering

Fast-growing scale-up is looking for a Head of Engineering. The role is both technical and strategic. You'll run day-to-day delivery and quality across engineering, but you're also the bridge between tech, product and the business. On top of that, you'll drive AI adoption within engineering, think AI tooling in the dev workflow and automating internal processes. Stack: Python (or Java), Kotlin, Angular, AWS. What we're looking for: - 8+ years of software engineering experience - At least 3 years in a senior engineering management role (Head of Engineering, senior Engineering Manager, or similar) - Experience leading teams of 10+ - Strong technical judgment, able to contribute to architecture discussions without needing to be the deepest hands-on coder - Comfortable in an environment where AI is playing a growing role in how things get built What's on offer: - Very attractive salary - Bonus - Pension scheme - 25+ holiday days - Hybrid working
