You’ll work on AWS platforms where infrastructure automation, service continuity and data recovery are central to the role. Python, MongoDB and shell scripting are part of the technical foundation. The main focus is Terraform, multi-region architecture and Disaster Recovery. Spanish and English fluency is required for this position. ✍️ What would you need? ✍️ - 5+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. - Strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation, operational tooling and backend services. - Solid experience with MongoDB, including replication, backup, restore and data recovery. - Deep knowledge of Terraform, including remote state, state locking, reusable modules, versioning and multi-region deployments. - Good understanding of AWS architecture, high availability and infrastructure automation. - Hands-on experience designing and testing Disaster Recovery strategies, including RTO, RPO, failover, failback and recovery runbooks. - Experience designing recovery pipelines for user identities and application state. - Knowledge of data replication, consistency checks and data reconciliation after recovery or failover. - Practical experience with AWS services such as Cognito, IAM, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store and KMS. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git. - Experience with distributed applications and web services. - Advanced proficiency in Spanish, written and spoken. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an international team. 👉 What will you be doing? 👈 - Design, deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Python and shell scripting. - Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for multi-account and multi-region environments. - Manage Terraform remote state, state locking, versioning, drift detection and controlled infrastructure changes. - Design and maintain recovery pipelines for user identities, application state and infrastructure components. - Define Disaster Recovery strategies based on clear RTO and RPO requirements. - Create recovery runbooks and automate failover, restore and failback procedures. - Design data replication and reconciliation processes for MongoDB and other application data. - Configure and manage AWS identity and security services, including Cognito, IAM, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store and KMS. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and recovery operations. - Monitor services, investigate incidents and improve recovery procedures based on operational feedback. - Work with architects, developers and operations teams to make sure recovery processes are tested and documented. - Take part in technical discussions, architecture reviews and continuous improvement activities. - Stay current with AWS, Terraform, cloud operations and Disaster Recovery practices. 🚀 Why us? 🚀 Join our team of talented professionals and build your career in an international environment.
