Senior Accountant - 100% Remote - Up to 65K

We are looking for Senior Accountant for our client located in BGC. Salary: Up to 65K Set-up: 100% Remote Responsibilities: - Enter all transactions into Xero - Reconcile transactions with bank statements / Perform account reconciliation and data entry - Handle expenses and bank reconciliations. - Record business expenses incurred on personal credit cards into Xero. - Manage reimbursement processes for business expenses. - Generate end-of-year financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet - Manage accounts receivable and payable. - Handle payroll and superannuation tasks. - Prepare BAS/IAS reports and financial reporting. - Perform management reporting in Excel. Qualifications: - Fully Xero certified with relevant bookkeeping and accounting qualifications (3 - 5 years of work experience with CPA & CA qualifications) - Strong Excel Skills (lookups, pivot tables, automation of reporting using formulas, data manipulation) opportunity for growth in this area. - Must have experience managing Australia based clients/books - Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role (especially in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Expense Reconciliation, Payroll) - Self-motivated, committed, and reliable with excellent attention to detail - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships - Broad knowledge of financial procedures and policies - Ability to maintain confidentiality. - Managerial skills - Quick learner with problem-solving capabilities Originally posted on Himalayas
