Chief Data Officer | London | £160,000-£180,000 + Benefits We're partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed financial services business to appoint a Chief Data Officer who can take its data function to the next level. This is a genuine transformation role, with executive-level visibility and the opportunity to reshape the data organisation, modernise the data estate and make data a core driver of business growth. The opportunity: - Define and deliver the organisation-wide data strategy - Transform the data operating model, team and capabilities - Lead the development of a modern cloud data platform, lake and warehouse environment - Build scalable, self-service data and analytics capabilities - Strengthen data engineering, architecture, governance and analytics - Partner with Product, Technology and the wider leadership team - Drive the use of AI and automation to improve productivity and customer experience - Use data to enhance onboarding, personalisation and customer journeys We're looking for: - Senior data leadership experience at Director, VP or CDO level - Proven experience transforming or scaling enterprise data functions - Strong technical understanding across data engineering, architecture, cloud and analytics - Experience building modern data platforms and self-service capabilities - Strong executive stakeholder management and commercial judgement - Azure / Microsoft data ecosystem experience is highly desirable - Financial services, fintech or another regulated environment would be advantageous Hybrid: London, 1 day per week in the office.
