Description

Job Role: People & Culture/Admin & Operations Support
Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 7:30 AM - 3 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: It is a civil construction business focused on delivering essential infrastructure works across urban and industrial environments. They specialise in practical, end-to-end delivery of civil projects such as Traffic Signal & Electrical Installations, Electronic Signage Installation, earthworks, road construction, drainage, and associated site works. They operate in highly regulated settings where safety, compliance, and coordination are critical, and they are known for taking a hands-on approach to getting projects delivered efficiently and to specification.
Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive People & Culture and Admin Operations Support professional to help keep our people systems and day-to-day processes running smoothly. You’ll manage employee inductions, records, contracts, letters and training compliance, while also supporting recruitment, employee relations, policies and subcontractor documentation as needed. Most of the work is handled remotely via email and phone, with templates and guidance from a qualified HR professional for more complex matters. Construction experience is a bonus, but what matters most is curiosity, initiative and a research-first mindset, with the willingness to learn industry terminology around plant, equipment, vehicles and subcontractor trades as you go.
