DevOps/Platform Engineer (m/f)

Our client is a leading company in its sector. We are providing full support for its implementation in Portugal and are currently looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer for its office in Lisbon. Role Overview You'll join our Technology team in Lisbon to build and run the platform behind our products: AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. You'll work directly with the engineering teams who build on top of it. The technical bar is high. But the human bar matters just as much. The platform is a product too, and its users are our engineers. You'll understand how they work, where they lose time and what slows them down. Responsibilities - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Manage Infrastructure as Code. - Manage Kubernetes and containerized services. - Ensure reliability and observability. - Implement DevSecOps and security practices. - Drive automation and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements: - 5+ years in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role - Strong AWS experience, production-grade. This is the core. - Infrastructure as code: hands-on with Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation - CI/CD: you have built and maintained real pipelines, not just used them - Docker and Kubernetes: solid experience running containers in production - At least one scripting language (Bash, Python or similar) that you use every day - Git: confident, daily use - Monitoring and logging: familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar - A troubleshooter’s mindset: you stay calm, dig for the root cause and fix it for good - A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience - Strong English, written and spoken Offer: - A strategic leadership role with real impact on company growth. - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Flexible working arrangements. - Collaborative, inclusive, and international environment.
