Position: Senior Character Animator Type:Contract Compensation:$60–$90/hour Location:Remote Role Responsibilities - Define clear standards for performance transfer in body mechanics, facial nuance, timing, and emotional intent. - Review generated performances and provide precise, actionable notes. - Develop benchmarks with reference performances to test model accuracy. - Shape the reviewer pool by defining profiles, rubrics, and calibration for human reviewers. - Collaborate with other experts to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations. Qualifications Must-Have - 10+ years as a character animator focused on human and character acting. - Animator credits on feature films, VFX features, or AAA game cinematics at recognized studios. - Strong eye for micro expressions, lip sync, weight, and timing. - Ability to work on-site in Playa Vista, CA or New York, NY for in-person sessions. - Strong written communication skills for evaluation templates. Preferred - Experience with facial animation and recent work in Unreal or Unity, VR/XR, or performance capture pipelines. - Hands-on use of generative image and video tools like Sora, Veo, Midjourney, Runway, Kling.
