Field Technical Engineer

Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM Division) Location - Lisbon/Portugal PURPOSE OF THE JOB - To provide technical support to Customers relating to Abbott Medical products. - To provide assistance with education for physicians and cardiac physiologists. - To provide servicing to the current customer base and establishing new accounts. - To maintain depth understanding of our product lines and support management in the formulation of sales strategies and goals. - To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed. Roles & Responsibilities - Achieve sales and units per plan. - Provide technical support of equipment and assistance over the whole national territory - to physicians. - Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies, and - collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies. - Perform Product Presentations. - Provide support to Sales and Tenders Team. - Analyze competitor's devices and maintenance updated marketing database. - Attend and complete all necessary training concerning the use of new products. - Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed. - Provide market information to Sales Department. - Produce monthly reports on personal activities. - To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures - are followed. - Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity. - Proactively plan their weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in your country/division. - Keep his/her immediate manager informed (business progress, activities). - Assist his/her manager to build the yearly implant plan required. - Give support to other regions if necessary. - This position is in contact with customers. EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES - University Degree in an area of Health sciences - English and Portuguese : high level. - Medical background (preferable). Natural Abilities - Professional image. - Communication skills. - Ethical character. - Willing to travel extensively. - Hard worker. - High level of confidence and proactivity.
