Raisin is the world’s leading platform for savings and investment products. Founded in 2012, the FinTech connects consumers with banks in the EU, the UK and the US. This gives consumers better interest rates and banks a diversified form of refinancing. Our vision is to offer savings and investments without barriers and thus open up the global 160 trillion euro market. Raisin currently employs more than 800 people from over 75 countries worldwide. Today, the platform holds over 80 billion euros in assets from more than one million investors which have accrued over 5 billion euros in returns. Team We are seeking a strategic, highly commercial and growth-driven Chief of Staff to spearhead commercial expansion and high-priority strategic initiatives in the UK market. Sitting directly alongside the UK CEO, this role bridges establishing high-value institutional partnerships with executive-level project execution. This is a high-leverage commercial and sales-focused Chief of Staff role - not an internal, project management or administration-focused role. Moving beyond traditional sales or purely operational roles, this position is designed for a strategic partner. You will act as the UK CEO’s right hand contributing to the long-term strategy, originating institutional partnerships and owning cross-functional strategic projects with the CEO end-to-end. A core element of this role is driving commercial growth alongside the UK CEO. This includes fully grasping the broader landscape, market and competitor dynamics, customer behaviour and regulatory context into actionable strategies for Group-level product and executive leadership. Your Responsibilities Strategic Business Development & Commercial Growth - Market & Commercial Strategy: Act as the local market strategist, translating UK client context, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback into growth opportunities and clear requirements for leadership. - Execute on this Strategy and Drive Partner Origination & Platform Growth: Lead business development initiatives to identify and execute commercial partnerships with banks, asset managers, wealth managers and myriad financial institutions across the UK. - Executive Sales Support: Partner directly with the UK CEO on complex commercial partnership negotiations. - Deal Structuring & Financial Modeling: Evaluate commercial frameworks, conduct quantitative modeling, and negotiate terms for strategic accounts and commercial initiatives. Strategic Operations & Cross-Functional Execution - Strategic Project Management: Own and drive end-to-end execution of CEO-led strategic initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment across local teams and the wider Raisin Group. - Executive & Board Preparation: Draft strategic presentations, business cases, and commercial proposals for the UK CEO, Boards (local and Group), and Group executive management. - Product Roadmap Alignment: Collaborate with Group product and operational teams to champion UK commercial priorities and integrate required features into the product roadmap. - Structured Execution: Maintain rigorous documentation, project cadences, and operational alignment across all UK strategic priorities while navigating Risk, Compliance, and Legal clearance for new commercial structures. Your Profile Qualifications & Experience - A background in Investment Banking (especially FIG), M&A Advisory, Corporate Finance, Consulting or Strategic BD experience in financial services/fintech is highly desirable. - Highly analytical and proactive mindset, avoiding reactive "firefighting" in favor of methodical, structured, data-backed execution and strategic planning. Essential Skills & Core Competencies - Strategic acumen: strong commercial instincts and a thorough appreciation for UK market dynamics. - Commercial & Financial Rigour: Strong financial modeling, valuation, contract negotiation, and analytical skills honed in high-pressure environments. - Stakeholder Management & Influence: Proven ability to influence, challenge, and align internal Group stakeholders, C-suite executives, and external partners. - Versatility: Comfortable pivoting seamlessly between financial modeling, client-facing sales meetings, and internal project coordination. - Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills suited for Board level interaction and external partner pitching.
