IT Infrastructure Manager

We are looking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Manager who can lead the infrastructure team, define the technical strategy and ensure the availability, security and performance of our systems and network. Key Responsabilities: - Lead and develop the IT infrastructure team, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews and career development. - Define and maintain the infrastructure strategy and roadmap (servers, storage, network, cloud and on-premise environments), aligned with the company goals. - Ensure the availability, performance and security of the systems and network, including monitoring and incident and problem management. - Plan and lead cloud migration, hybrid infrastructure and disaster recovery projects. - Manage the infrastructure budget, and evaluate and negotiate with technology providers and vendors. - Define and enforce infrastructure security policies and standards, in coordination with the information security team. - Oversee capacity planning and the lifecycle of hardware and software assets. - Coordinate with development, operations and business teams to support new projects and ensure infrastructure readiness. - Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs and internal management protocols. - Keep technical documentation, policies and procedures up to date. - Escalate critical risks or incidents that require senior management review. ABOUT YOU! Experience - More than 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems or network administration. - More than 3 years of experience leading infrastructure or IT operations teams. - Experience managing budgets and technology vendors. - Experience leading cloud migration or hybrid infrastructure projects is valuable. Languages - Essential: high or native level of Spanish and upper-intermediate level of English (B2 or higher). - Knowledge of other languages is valuable. Computer skills - Essential: advanced level. - Solid knowledge of server, storage, network and virtualization administration, and of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of infrastructure security, backup and disaster recovery, and of monitoring and ITSM tools. - Valuable: infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), and ITIL practices. Soft skills: - Leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making under pressure, clear communication, vendor negotiation and priority management. Education requirements - Recommended, not mandatory: Degree in Computer Engineering or a similar IT field. (can be compensated with experience)
