Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry's digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity. Xometry is seeking a Staff Salesforce Engineer to join our Salesforce Platform Team and serve as the technical lead for the Thomas Salesforce org. Every advertiser contract, lead, renewal, and invoice, and the integrations that carry them into HubSpot, Intacct, and ZoomInfo, moves through this platform. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Sales Ops, and Finance to make the platform reliable, well-governed, and predictable to deliver against. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role. You will set technical direction, write and review the hardest code, and bring order to how work is intaken, owned, and delivered. This role has no direct reports. How You'll Contribute - Operational Excellence: Turn a reactive backlog into a prioritized, owned delivery process. Shape intake and prioritization so every ticket leaving Triage has a named owner and a sized estimate, and lead sprint planning, story time, and retro on our 14-day cadence. - Integration and Platform Architecture: Own the design and health of the Salesforce integrations with Intacct, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo, and of CPQ, contracts, change orders, and lead routing. Fix integration failures at the root cause, with error handling, idempotency, and reconciliation, instead of one ticket at a time. - Guide Innovation: Guide build vs buy and declarative vs programmatic decisions, and champion the practices that keep the org maintainable: all metadata through Gearset and GitHub CI/CD, no direct-to-production changes, and a current technical roadmap that includes the structural debt. - Code Review: Write Apex, LWC, and Flow on the hardest problems, review pull requests, and mentor developers and admins on Salesforce best practices. Set technical expectations for onshore and offshore contractors, review their work, and give the Sr. Manager written assessments of their delivery quality. Serve as the technical escalation point for production incidents and lead the root-cause analysis. - Collaborative Strategy: Forge strong partnerships with Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, Marketing, IT, and the Marketplace Salesforce team. Push back with a clear rationale when a request is not the right solution. Own the technical side of SOX compliance for the platform: prepare and review SOX deployment audit evidence, produce the recurring SOX reports for Finance and audit, and run connected-app and API access reviews. What You'll Bring to Xometry - At least 5 years of professional Salesforce development experience in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment, with mastery of Apex and Lightning Web Components built and run in production, and fluency in Flow and declarative configuration - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Demonstrated experience designing Salesforce integrations with ERP and marketing automation systems (Intacct, NetSuite, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar), using Salesforce APIs and middleware or cloud services such as AWS - Experience with Salesforce CPQ, contracts, and the change-order lifecycle - Experience deploying Salesforce code with a full SDLC: code review, testing, multi-environment management, and a CI/CD pipeline such as Gearset or Copado with Git-based workflows - Experience supporting SOX controls for a Salesforce org, including deployment audit evidence, access reviews, permission governance, and reporting to Finance or auditors - Working code in JavaScript, Python, or Java beyond Apex, and SQL for data investigation - Experience guiding a team's technical direction, including mentoring through code review and leading team ceremonies, with distributed or offshore contributors a plus - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, from a Finance controller to a nearshore developer - Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and II are strongly preferred. Technical Architect, Administrator, or CPQ Specialist is a plus - Experience in a B2B marketplace, media and advertising, or subscription-revenue business is a plus - Practical use of AI tooling in development is a plus. We run Claude and Cursor as approved standards on this team The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $133,000 - $170,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including 401(k) match, medical, dental and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, floating and fixed holidays, maternity and bonding leave; EAP, other wellbeing resources; and much more. Xometry is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status. For US based roles: Xometry participates in E-Verify and after a job offer is accepted, will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
