The role works closely with the Managing Director and leads end-to-end delivery across custody, trading, settlement, tokenization, payments, and wealth management. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Partner with the Digital Assets Steering Committee and senior leaders to translate strategy into roadmaps, operating plans, and delivery frameworks, with structured updates on progress, risks, and decisions - Lead end-to-end delivery of digital asset initiatives and set governance, cadences, and escalation so work stays on timeline, budget, and quality - Drive accountability across Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance by resolving dependencies and removing blockers - Support institutional client acquisition and relationship management, and lead vendor and strategic partner evaluation and onboarding - Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new digital asset products aligned with CIBC’s direction - Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk on regulatory engagement, monitor the regulatory landscape, and help track and address issues - Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team with clear expectations and talent planning 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 10+ years of progressive experience in capital markets, fintech, banking, or technology, including at least 5 years in senior leadership or program delivery - Demonstrated expertise in digital assets, blockchain technology, and institutional financial services - Track record of leading complex, multi-stream programs and turning strategy into scalable execution and business outcomes - Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and partner with executive leadership - On-site full-time at 300 Madison Ave, New York; 40 hours per week; legal eligibility to work at that location required 🛠 Nice-to-have: - MBA or other advanced degree 💡 Perks & Benefits: - Base range $250,000 - $300,000 for the New York market, based on experience, qualifications, and location, plus possible incentive plan and discretionary bonus - Medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, disability, and other insurance, paid time off including sick, parental, and vacation, holidays, and 401(k) - Banking benefits, wellbeing support, MomentMakers recognition, and Purpose Day, a paid day for growth and development 📩 To apply: Apply on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/executive-director-digital-asset-platforms-at-cibc-us-4473921229.
