Senior Mining Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Mining Engineer based in Canada. This is a senior consulting engineering role focused on mine planning, design, optimization, and project evaluation across the mining lifecycle. You will contribute to projects ranging from conceptual studies through pre-feasibility, feasibility, and operating mine stages. The role combines technical leadership with economic analysis, project management, client engagement, and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will help shape mine plans, production strategies, technical studies, and investment decisions while supporting resource-to-reserve conversion and operational improvements. You will also provide technical mentorship, contribute to business development, and help ensure projects meet rigorous safety, regulatory, and professional standards. Periodic travel to client sites and project locations in Canada and internationally will provide exposure to diverse mining environments and complex assignments.
