Senior Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to develop and implement security solutions across cloud environments, combining cloud engineering, software development and automation. The role is a permanent and hybrid opportunity with a financial services client of mine based in Galway. Key Responsibilities - Develop security tooling and automation for cloud infrastructure and applications. - Implement secure practices across AWS/Azure environments. - Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. - Support Kubernetes and containerised environments. - Collaborate with cloud and security teams to improve security practices. Key Requirements - Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of cloud security across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. - Programming experience in Python, Go, Node.js or similar. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of Kubernetes, JSON and YAML. - Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in a DevOps environment.
