Service Delivery Lead

About Us Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas: - Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement; - IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams. The Project We are seeking a Service Delivery Lead to work on a Tech project. You will have the following responsibilities: - Act as the main point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships; - Ensure delivery teams consistently meet client expectations and business objectives; - Lead delivery governance meetings, providing clear status updates, risk assessments, and action plans; - Monitor delivery performance, team capacity, and overall project health; - Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary; - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, teams, and ways of working; - Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams to align delivery with client priorities; - Support staffing decisions by helping identify and select the right talent for the client. You need to have the following skills/experience: - 5+ years of experience in Service Delivery, Agile Delivery, Project Management, or similar client-facing roles; - Proven experience managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations; - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent); - Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams in international and distributed environments; - Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills; - English proficiency at B2 level or above (written and spoken); - Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) are a plus; - Experience in Application Development, Managed Services, or Digital Transformation programs is a plus; - Knowledge of delivery metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices is a plus; - Familiarity with Agile management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps is a plus. Location Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
