Our approach is based on conscious technology, through which we create positive environments and meaningful opportunities, always in our own way, making the complex simple. 🤘 What you will do: - Lead the end-to-end architecture of secure, scalable enterprise platforms. - Act as the main technical contact for clients, from discovery through architectural presentation and delivery. - Design Camunda workflows, back-end services, system integrations and cloud platforms. - Define architectural standards, documentation, security controls and AI-assisted engineering workflows. - Ensure compliance with quality, governance and regulatory requirements. - Mentor engineers and coordinate international, multidisciplinary teams. What you should know/have to succeed in this role: - Proven experience as a Principal Architect, Solution Architect or equivalent at enterprise scale. - Expert-level Senior Java developer with at least 10 years of senior-level experience (modern Java, Spring ecosystem, microservices, performance and testing practices). - Solid full-stack understanding, including modern front-end frameworks and how they connect to back-end services. - Strong track record in back-end services integration across heterogeneous systems. - Experience working on large-scale, complex or mission-critical projects where quality, traceability, governance and delivery discipline are critical. - Client-facing excellence (essential) - Demonstrated success in client-facing roles: presales support, requirements elicitation, stakeholder management and executive-level communication. - Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business value and to handle challenging conversations with confidence. - Fluent English at C2 level, both written and spoken. - Experience working directly with government, public-sector or highly regulated clients, where formal governance, rigorous quality standards, compliance and established delivery methodologies are required. Platform and cloud: - Hands-on knowledge of Camunda (preferably Camunda 8 / Zeebe) in production environments. - Practical cloud engineering skills (infrastructure as code, containers and orchestration, CI/CD, observability). - Experience architecting cloud foundations (landing zones, networking, identity, resilience, disaster recovery) on AWS, Azure or comparable providers for enterprise platforms. Security and compliance: - Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts: identity and access management, encryption, secure SDLC, threat modelling, network and application security. - Experience with security accreditation of enterprise-level projects (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, or government/regulatory frameworks), including evidence preparation and engagement with auditors. - Experience working within strict quality, security, compliance and governance frameworks, with a strong understanding of the importance of process adherence, documentation and auditability. - Ability to balance delivery pragmatism with the requirements of formal governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Ways of working: - Experience configuring and managing AI-assisted, multi-agent workflows for software production. - Proficiency with collaboration and documentation platforms such as Confluence and Jira. - Proven ability to create architectural schematics and use recognised notations or frameworks (e.g. C4, UML, ArchiMate, BPMN). - Strong understanding of structured engineering methodologies, quality management practices and formal delivery processes. - Ability to maintain high standards of documentation, traceability and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Nice to Have: - Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Solution Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, CSSLP or Camunda certifications). - Experience in regulated sectors such as government/public sector, defense, finance, healthcare or telecoms. - Experience delivering projects subject to formal government procurement, governance, security or accreditation processes. - Experience working within international organisations or programmes involving multinational teams and stakeholders. - Experience with event streaming (Kafka) and API management. - Contributions to technical communities, publications or speaking engagements.
