Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, build, and optimize AI models that power Himalay.ai’s contextual understanding, compatibility intelligence, and conversational experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and training neural network models, implementing NLP pipelines, performing pattern recognition on large datasets, and integrating AI components into production-ready software systems. The role also involves collaborating with product and design teams to translate user needs into technical solutions, evaluating model performance, and iterating on algorithms to improve accuracy and user experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design. - Proficiency in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, with experience training and evaluating machine learning or deep learning models. - Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text processing, language models, and conversational AI frameworks. - Experience with common AI/ML tools and languages (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, cloud-based ML services). - Ability to work with large, complex datasets and apply statistical and analytical methods to derive insights. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and interest in building technology that enhances human connection.
