Site Reliability Engineer Generalist – Quant Trading

We’re partnered with a leading global quantitative trading firm where technology is at the heart of the business. Their engineers build and operate highly sophisticated, low-latency infrastructure supporting trading and research at global scale. As an SRE Generalist, you’ll: - Own critical infrastructure that keeps trading systems fast, reliable and available. - Work across Linux, networking, Kubernetes and distributed systems in a demanding production environment. - Build automation and production tooling in Python and/or Go. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues, driving problems through to resolution. - Work closely with traders, researchers and software engineers, translating technical challenges into robust solutions. - Continuously improve reliability, performance and operational efficiency across the trading environment. Qualifications: - Strong ability to write production-ready Python and/or Go. - Hands-on experience running Kubernetes on-premises. - Excellent Linux and systems fundamentals. - Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with trading and research teams. - A pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex technical problems.
