💼 Hiring: Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Cyber Defense Operations - Talan 📍 Remote - Spain or any other European country | 🕐 Date not listed | 💰 Not provided | 🧑‍💻 Full-time, permanent or contractor | 🔗 SOC / SIEM / EDR Talan is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a global Cyber Defense Operations team in a 24x7 SOC. The role covers hands-on detection, investigation, and incident response. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Monitor, triage, and investigate alerts across SIEM, EDR, Microsoft Security, and cloud - Investigate threats, identify root causes, and define remediation - Analyze logs from Windows, Linux, databases, apps, web servers, firewalls, and networks - Work with Incident Response teams to contain and resolve threats - Maintain detection tools, improve quality, and cut false positives - Prepare client reports, manage tickets, improve SOC processes, and optimize monitoring 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - 5+ years in IT, cybersecurity, or security operations - Hands-on SOC work: alert triage and incident investigation - SIEM and EDR: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or ELK - Microsoft Security: Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365, Sentinel, Azure Security, XDR - Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, plus EDR such as Defender for Endpoint or CrowdStrike - Networking, TCP/IP, Windows/Linux logs, email security, and tickets - Excellent spoken and written English 🛠 Nice-to-have / Preferred: - Incident Response, particularly Tier I/II, and a global distributed SOC - AWS monitoring across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS - Scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, or similar - SC-200, GCIH, CEH, GCFA, GIAC, CCNA, or MCSE 💡 Perks & Benefits: - Full-time permanent contract or contractor mode, remote in Spain or any other European country - Growth, learning, multicultural team, and international work - Private medical and life insurance, flexible pay, language classes, Smart Office Pack 📩 To apply: Apply: https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Talan/744000151860096-senior-cybersecurity-analyst-cyber-defense-operations- 🔗 Original post: https://himalayas.app/companies/talan/jobs/senior-cybersecurity-analyst-cyber-defense-operations 📌 New here?
