Brief Description Technical Sales Graduate Are you eager to kick-start your career in a dynamic and fast-growing industry? Look no further! In this role as a Technical Sales Graduate, you will work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams to provide technical product support, manage projects, prepare quotations and specifications, and identify solutions that meet customer and project requirements. You will gain exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of the business, developing the skills needed to build strong customer relationships and drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a rewarding career in technical sales within a fast-paced and innovative environment. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent coordination skills, and be a proactive problem-solver. A high level of IT proficiency with MS office programmes (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential, along with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, delivering within tight deadlines, and the ability to be flexible in the role in adjusting to rapid changes. This role is based at our Headquarters in Killarney. Responsibilities - Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, services and technical specifications. - Provide technical support and product guidance to customers, consultants and contractors. - Assist in preparing quotations, tenders and project proposals. - Review project drawings, specifications and bills of quantities to identify opportunities and customer requirements. - Support the sales team in managing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. - Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for customers and stakeholders. - Liaise with engineering, production and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met. - Lead and assist with project tracking and follow-up to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. - Maintain accurate customer and project records within company systems. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments. - Attend customer meetings, site visits, trade events and industry exhibitions as required. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the achievement of sales and business objectives. - Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills - Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Manufacturing, Chemical, Materials or related discipline) or Quantity Surveying. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Commercial awareness and an interest in sales and business development. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
