Description
The Company
Undagrid is part of the EnOcean group and delivers end-to-end asset tracking and IoT solutions that give customers in aviation, logistics and industry full visibility of their assets, equipment and operations. The Undagrid platform combines self-powered and battery-driven sensor devices with BLE-based indoor positioning, GPS/GNSS outdoor tracking and cellular IoT connectivity, and turns the resulting data into dashboards, analytics and reports that customers rely on every day. We are the leader in sensing and control products for IoT infrastructures and combine it with energy harvesting technologies for maintenance-free solutions that gain their energy from the environment enabling a sustainable world.
The Role & You
You are the technical face of our asset tracking platform towards our worldwide customer base. Working side by side with Sales, Product Management and Engineering, you guide customers from the first platform demonstration through deployment, training and day-to-day operations, and make sure they get measurable value out of our solutions. As an integral part of a global Customer Success team, you combine hands-on platform expertise with a strong feel for our customers’ business processes, and you turn what you learn in the field into better products.
This position can be based in either Munich (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark) or Utrecht (the Netherlands). We are recruiting for one role and will hire one candidate. The employment contract will be concluded with the local EnOcean entity at the selected location. Please apply only once and indicate your preferred location.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary technical counterpart in customer meetings alongside Sales and PM, and build strong relationships with technical, operational and management stakeholders on the customer side
- Deliver compelling platform demonstrations and showcase advanced functionality in a way that creates confidence and excitement with customers
- Support solution design and deployment planning for new customer projects, and support our customers worldwide in deploying EnOcean and Undagrid solutions in their network and IT infrastructure
- Configure and administer the platform independently, including tenant creation, user management, dashboard setup, reporting and minor customizations to meet customer requirements
- Deliver technical and operational training for customer teams, from end users to administrators and IT stakeholders
- Travel to customer sites when needed to support deployments, training, workshops, troubleshooting and business reviews
- Validate our solutions in the field and at customer sites, identify technical problems and drive them to resolution
- Collect customer requirements and translate them into actionable improvements and product feedback, working closely with our sales, product marketing, product management and engineering teams
What We’re Looking For
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, combined with 5–10 years of experience in the asset tracking, IoT, RTLS, telematics, or related industries
- Solid understanding of both indoor and outdoor tracking technologies: BLE-based indoor positioning and proximity tracking, GPS/GNSS-based outdoor tracking, as well as cellular IoT, telematics and fleet tracking concepts
- Experience working with asset tracking platforms, dashboards, analytics and customer reporting, as well as with tools such as Grafana, git and Jira
- Experience in installing and configuring network equipment, ideally in the field of aviation or logistics
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills across hardware, connectivity and software domains
- Good understanding of business processes and operational use cases, enabling you to discuss both technical capabilities and business value with customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with everyone from operational users and IT departments to senior management, paired with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude in direct customer contact
- Willingness to travel worldwide and to adjust your working schedule to support customers in different time zones
- Fluent English is a must, additional language skills are a plus
What We Offer And What You Can Expect
- Flexible working hours, well balanced work-life ratio
- Work in an international and interdisciplinary team with great spirit
- Freedom to express and develop yourself
- Be part of a company that develops innovative technology for a greener world
