Lead Solutions Architect

Eleven VMS is a SaaS Vendor Management System (VMS) that helps large organisations source, manage and pay their external workforce, freelancers, consulting firms and IT vendors, end to end, from sourcing to invoicing. Originally the “Rise” business line of LittleBig Connection and part of the Mantu group, Eleven VMS now operates as a standalone company. It serves major international accounts such as TotalEnergies, Decathlon, Veolia, Amadeus and LVMH, with a usage-based revenue model and thousands of missions managed every quarter. Job Description Join our Technology team and contribute to the design of scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions across our product ecosystem. As a Lead Solution Architect, reporting to the Chief Technology & Product Officer, you will define and own the end-to-end architecture of our products, from business domains to the cloud infrastructure supporting them, while guiding architecture and technical standards across squads. Your Missions - Design complex systems and their underlying infrastructure, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency. - Define and drive the architectural vision of the platform and its cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product strategy. - Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, Architecture Decision Records, API contracts, and technical documentation to support consistent implementation. - Guide Solution Architects and senior technical profiles on architecture frameworks, technical standards, and software development best practices. - Build proofs of concept, reference implementations, and technical spikes to validate architectural choices before adoption by teams. - Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Management, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and integrate architecture principles into CI/CD pipelines and Azure deployments. - Establish and enforce architecture standards, design review processes, and security-by-design principles, ensuring compliance with performance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. - Identify opportunities to integrate generative AI tools into software development processes, defining standards and guardrails for adoption across teams. Your Profile - 8+ years of experience in software architecture, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. - Proven experience in solution architecture and infrastructure architecture, with the ability to design end-to-end systems and the cloud platforms supporting them. - Advanced knowledge of software architecture patterns and styles, including microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, and API-first design. - Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture, including networking, compute, containers, data services, identity, API Management, and Infrastructure as Code. - Solid knowledge of software development best practices, including clean code, testing strategies, code review, CI/CD, and technical documentation. - Experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, PostgreSQL, Azure Container Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Terraform, and Auth0 is a plus. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including OWASP, Zero Trust, secure SDLC, threat modeling, and cloud security posture management, is a plus. - Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are a plus. - English fluent. French is a plus. - Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
