Technical Director / Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Company: Pride Solar Energy Location: Baden-Württemberg, Germany Work Arrangement: On-site Employment Type: Full-time Annual Gross Base Salary: €125,000–€145,000 Compensation: Base salary plus performance-based bonus, subject to agreement About the Role Pride Solar Energy is developing its clean energy operations, with an initial focus on commercial and industrial solar power, energy storage, and integrated energy management solutions. We are seeking an experienced Technical Director / CTO to lead our technical strategy, establish engineering standards, and oversee the development and implementation of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in building our technical capabilities and supporting the long-term growth of the business. Key Responsibilities - Lead technical strategy and evaluate solar, energy storage, and energy management solutions. - Oversee engineering design, technical assessments, procurement specifications, and project implementation. - Establish technical standards, quality assurance procedures, and performance evaluation processes. - Manage technical documentation, software systems, intellectual property, and relevant compliance requirements. - Coordinate engineers, suppliers, contractors, and external technical partners. - Monitor project budgets, lifecycle costs, system performance, and operational risks. - Support business development by evaluating technical feasibility and identifying opportunities for innovation. Qualifications - Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Significant experience in technical leadership, engineering management, or renewable energy project delivery. - Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage, and energy management technologies. - Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical projects. - Experience with technical procurement, supplier management, project budgeting, and regulatory compliance. - Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
